Lena Dunham made an unexpected announcement at the 2015 Golden Globes red carpet that she has quit Twitter because of death threats.
The 'Girls' star, who wore a gorgeous red satin dress and heavy eye-makeup, said that she has many death threats from vile internet trolls, the Mirror reported.
She said that she's trying to create a safer place for herself and people threaten her life and tell her what a cow she is.
Dunham added that she checks her micro-blogging account occasionally but it's not the same co-dependence and there are a lot of people she loves on the internet but one can't read those without reading deranged neo-cons telling her that she should be buried under a pile of rocks.
