Rupert Sanders' former wife, Liberty Ross, has shed light on the filmmaker's affair with Kristen Stewart, claiming that she went through a "horrible" time after the cheating scandal broke out.
The English model told Vanity Fair that she believes something has to completely die for there to be a rebirth and she feels like she is going through one right now, ABC News reported.
The mum-of-two asserted that Sanders wanted to reconcile after the news of the affair emerged, but she knew that the marriage was over.
Ross insisted that she is not a quitter, and she did everything she could to be the perfect wife and mother, and support her husband, but she just didn't have any more to give to the relationship.
Ross, who filed for divorce in January, said that she has forgiven Sanders since then because they were together for 16 years, and that in itself is really beautiful.
