It has been almost 13 years since the moviegoers were introduced with Lindsay Lohan's Regina George in the cult-film 'Mean Girls' and the actress is leaving no stone unturned to make its sequel happen.
Recently, in an interview with 'The View', the 30-year-old said, she is totally trying to make 'Mean Girls 2', as the 'Machete' star believes that this story is not over just yet, reports E! Online.
"I went to Saturday Night Live the other day and I was like harassing Lorne Michaels, I'm like we have to do. I'll write the treatment-If Tina Fey's too busy," she shared.
The actress did get support for the sequel, by SNL's co-host Sara Haines.
"Yes, they should. They're smart with timing. It will come when the time is right. It's a great movie. It's a cult film," Lindsay added.
Earlier, she said that she will keep on forcing the idea of a sequel to Tina Fey and Paramount, even if they are busy.
The 'Canyons' star even wishes to have Jamie Lee Curtis and Jimmy Fallon in the sequel.
