After a string of angry reactions from B-town, over the refusal of certification to the upcoming 'Lipstick Under My Burkha,' FTII chairman Gajendra Chauhan believes that the 'rejection clause' should be scrapped from CBFC.

Talking exclusively to ANI, Chauhan said, "Censor Board is only for certifying the film. If rejecting a film is in their hands, then the government should take this matter into consideration and scrap the rejection clause completely. If not, how did they use this power to reject a film?"

However, Chauhan noted that the current CBFC chairperson, Pahlaj Nahilani is doing a 'great work'.

For the uninitiated, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has refused to certify Prakash Jha's upcoming film 'Lipstick Under My Burkha', for its sexual scenes, abusive words and audio pornography.
