Lithuanian man breaks world record by lifting 1,155 pounds

A man from Lithuania has broken the world record by lifting 1,155 pounds without even breaking a sweat.

Zydrunas Savickas achieved his victory at the 2014 Arnold Strongman classic in Columbus, Ohio by surpassing the previous record of 1,128 pounds, the New York Daily News reported.

The 38-year-old, listed at 6-foot-3-inches tall and 400 pounds, lifted the bar with eight large weights, before looking to both sides and dropping it back on the floor.
