Charlton defender Joe Gomez has signed a five-year contract with Liverpool for 3.5million pounds.
Although the 18-year-old would start pre-season with the Premier League Club, he is likely to move to Championship side Derby on loan.
Gomez, who was a member of the England Under-17 side that lifted the 2014 European Championships, said that it was a dream come true and a bit surreal, the BBC reported.
The England Under-19 international said that the club has got great history, insisting that he has been following the club since his childhood and wants to get better and play good ootball.
