The Indian men's team will be taking on France, while the women's team would clash with Belgium in the World Hockey League semi-finals in Antwerp, Belgium today.
The Indian team led by Sardar Singh have been placed in Group-A alongside Australia, Pakistan, Poland and France.
In the Women's section, the Ritu Rani-led Indian team is in Pool-B with Australia, New Zealand, Belgium and Poland.
This tournament serves as a qualifier for the next year's Summer Olympics.
It will be a do-or-die situation for the women's team as an Olympic berth is at stake for them in the tournament.
Meanwhile, the same pressure would not be on the men's team as they have already booked a place in next year's Rio Olympics by virtue of winning Gold at the Incheon Asian Games last year.
