Mickey Rooney's lost film from 1927 called 'Mickey's Circus', is set to be restored through landmark Dutch-American collaboration.

The short film featuring 6-year-old Rooney in his first starring role, has been recently unearthed in the Netherlands and the San Francisco-based National Film Preservation Foundation and the esteemed EYE Filmmuseum of Amsterdam are partnering to bring it into public view, The Hollywood Reporter reported.

'Mickey's Circus', from Larry Darmour Productions, stars Rooney as Mickey McGuire, the ringmaster of a kids' circus, among dozens of early American silent pictures that are slated for preservation.
