Former New Zealand batsman Lou Vincent has reportedly said that he is ready to face any punishments for his involvement in match fixing in England and elsewhere around the world.
Vincent was charged by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) along with Pakistani bowler Naveed Arif for corruption when they both played for Sussex in 2011.
According to The Guardian, breaking his silence, Vincent denied that he has agreed a plea bargain with the ICC's anti-corruption and security unit (ACU), and expects further charges to follow.
Vincent also stated that he 'confirms the charges arise from matters he has disclosed to the authorities and he remains accountable for his actions of the past'.
The report mentioned that those charges could relate to the Champions League Twenty20 tournament in South Africa in 2012, when he was playing for the Auckland Aces and if Vincent and Arif are found guilty, they could almost face a life ban.
The ECB has laid 14 charges against Vincent arising while Arif has been charged with six offences in relation to a match against Kent, the report added.
