Premier League stars Chelsea has reportedly agreed to sell defender David Luiz to French champions Paris Saint-Germain in a deal worth in the region of 40 million pounds.
The Brazilian, who joined Stamford Bridge from Benfica in early 2011 for 21.3 million pounds, has three years left on the five-year contract he signed at Chelsea in late 2012.
According to the BBC, a statement on Chelsea's official website said that the move is now subject to Luiz, who has been the subject of interest from Barcelona in the last two summers, agreeing to personal terms with PSG and passing a medical
The report mentioned that despite recently failing UEFA's financial fair play (FFP) rules, PSG will break the transfer record for a defender to secure the services of Luiz, who is not a part of manager Jose Mourinho's first-choice central defensive pairing.
Meanwhile the report added that Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa is among those linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
