Louis Saha warns Man U loosing 'Class of 92' spirit would be 'shameful'

Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has reportedly warned the club that it would be a shame to damage the spirit of the 'Class of 92' and lose such players.

Saha said that it would be a shame if United loses players like Ryan Giggs, who has been put in temporary charge of the club following David Moyes' axing, and his assisting coaches Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt and Phil Neville and that kind of spirit and charisma.

According to the BBC, Saha said that with Netherlands boss Louis van Gaal tipped to take charge of United, starting next season, the club may lose out in the same way as the club lost following Sir Alex Ferguson's departure if the players leave.

The current United staff reportedly includes former England captain David Beckham and current England coach Gary Neville, and forms one of the most decorated youth teams in English football.

The players on United's staff reportedly became so famous that a film about them was released last year, with the same 'Class of 92' title by which they are collectively known.

However, Saha said that it is not just these players' ability but it is the spirit of United that contributes overall to the club.

The Frenchman added that as a foreigner coming in, he watched the way they acted and how they were dedicated to the cause of the club, which made him realise what the size of the club actually is.
