Manchester United's new manager Louis van Gaal has claimed that Jose Mourinho was jealous of his new job as the club's manager
Van Gaal said that the Chelsea boss had 'texted' him to congratulate on his new job and expressed his jealousy at it.
According to Metro, the Chelsea boss who worked under Van Gaal during their time at Barcelona, was in the running to replace Sir Alex Ferguson last season.
However, Van Gaal insisted that when he was selected as the new manager to turn around United's fortunes, Mourinho was quick to send wishes to his old friend.
