Australian spin legend Shane Warne is reportedly looking for a fan who commiserated with the former leg-spinner while he traipsed off the ground, disappointed, after being taken out for 99 in a Test against New Zealand in Perth in 2001.
Warne, who holds a significant batting record along with his bowling records, never ever got a chance to notch three figures in Test after that fateful match.
According to News.com.au, Warne said that there was a fan at the stands while he was walking off for 99, who was wearing a t-shirt saying 'Warney's Grouse at Cricket', adding that the t-shirt revealed the exact that he was in at the moment.
Stating that he finds to share a beer with the 'mystery' fan, Warne urged people to tweet him at @Warne888 with the hashtag #Fanhunt if they think that they have found the mystery t-shirt wearer.
