Lucasfilm and Disney have declared Josh Trank, who's currently working on 'The Fantastic Four', to be the director of their much-anticipated 'Star Wars' standalone movies.
Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy wrote on StarWars.com, that the 30-year-old director's imagination and sense of innovation made him just apt for the film, CNET reported.
Trank, who's one of the youngest directors to debut with a hit movie, 'Chronicle', in the US, said that 'Star Wars' had defined his childhood and the opportunity was like an "incredible dream".
