The workers of Democratic Madhesi Morcha and its allies today waved black flags in Kathmandu in protest against the government on day two of their protest.

The protesting party workers staged demonstration outside various government offices in the capital, as they pressed for their demands.

Anirudhra Singh, member of Nepal Sadbhavna Party, said "This movement is centralized to Singh-Darbar. We presented memorandum to chief district officer in every district. We are going to unfurl black flags in every government office."

Madhesis protested for six-long months but according to protestors, their demands were not met by the government and this time protestors have also decided for gherao of Singh Darbar .

Nizamuddin Samani, one of the protestors, said, "Our movement will not stop, until our demands are fulfilled. We carried out movement for six months but our demands were not met. Now, we will unfurl black flags in all government offices and will do gherao of Singh-darbar."

Madheshis feel that they have been denied their basic rights. With the new phase of their peaceful movement, they hope to achieve all they want through negotiations with the government.

Sharif Gaddi, another protestor, said, "Today is the second day of Madhes movement. After this we will do peaceful protest and we believe in peace. We will take our rights through peaceful protest."

Due to the Madhesi agitation, Nepal's industrial sector has incurred losses worth 200 billion Nepalese rupees. More than 50 people were killed in protests.
