Maharashtra: Naxalites gun down two villagers on suspicion of being informers

The Naxalites have gunned down two villagers from Gadchiroli District near Maharashtra-Chhattisgarh border on suspicion of being police informers.

The incident took place this morning in Kurkheda tehsil near Kamtheda forest.

Last week, a police personnel was killed in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast triggered by Naxals in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur District.

Earlier this month, as many as 122 Naxals, including 11 women, surrendered before the police in Sukma District of Chhattisgarh.
