'Maltese Falcon' from iconic 1941 Bogart flick set to fetch $1mln at auction

The iconic 'Maltese Falcon' from the 1941 Humphrey Bogart film is set to go under the hammer and is expected to fetch a whopping 1 million dollars.

The infamous black bird prop noir classic is up for bidding at the Guernsey's auction house and is considered one of the most valuable props in movie history, the New York Daily News reported.

The statue is compared with Judy Garland's ruby slippers from 'The Wizard of Oz' which was sold for 660,000 dollars for a pair.
