Mamata announces job for kin of three slain CRPF jawans

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday announced that the state government will give jobs to one family member of the three Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans who were killed in the Sukma attack.

All the three CRPF jawans hailed from West Bengal.

"The West Bengal Government will give a government job to one family member of the three CRPF jawans who lost their lives in Sukma attack," said Mamata.

She was talking to media after meeting the family of CRPF jawan, Krishna Kumar Das, who was killed in an ambush by the Maoists in Chhattisgarh's Sukma on Monday.

Bengal's jawan always sacrifice their lives for the nation, she said, adding that Das was just 27-year-old and was married recently.

She also announced Rs. five lakh compensation for the family of Das. She also said that Rs five lakh would also be given to the families two other CRPF jawans of the state who were killed in Sukma attack.
