The Minnesota man who tossed 1,000 dollar bills from an upper floor railing at the Mall of America has been cited for disorderly conduct.
Serge Vorobyov, of Apple Valley, admitted throwing his "last 1,000 dollars" from the fourth floor and while coming down the escalator, as a choir performed 'Let it Snow' and revealed that he did it to spread holiday cheers, ABC News reported.
The 29-year-old man confessed that he is going through a divorce and also lost his car hauling business and added that he was hoping that the positivity of throwing the money would come back to him
He also revealed that he had invited his estranged wife to try to win her back but she didn't show up.
Vorobyov, who said that the reason for the stunt was to get his cat back form his estranged wife, has been ordered not to go into the mall for a year.
