Manchester City has moved up to the second position in the Premier League following their 4-2 win against Fulham away at Craven Cottage on Saturday.

City, who has won all eight of their home league matches, is now unbeaten in nine matches in all competitions and is only a point behind Liverpool, who had moved top earlier with a 3-1 victory over Cardiff.

According to the BBC, Manuel Pellegrini's side took the lead in the game with first-half goals from Yaya Toure and captain Vincent Kompany in the 23rd and 43rd minutes respectively, although the hosts made a comeback in the 50th minute with a goal from Kieran Richardson before Kompany sliced a clearance into his own net for 2-2.

However, the visitors made a rousing recovery with Jesus Navas converting David Silva's pass to restore City's lead and James Milner tapping in a fourth goal late on, leading the side to victory.

Fulham, who is in a lowly 19th position on the table, had lost eight of their previous nine matches in all competitions, the report added.
