Manchester United breezed past struggling Queens Park Rangers to earn a 2-0 victory in the Premier League to help consolidate their position in the top four.
Following a first-half stalemate, United's manager Louis van Gaal made a tactical change in the line-up by introducing Marouane Fellaini for Juan Mata.
Subsequently, Fellaini netted a clinical finish in the 58th minute after Antonio Valencia had been played in by Wayne Rooney's clever pass.
The hosts were gifted a chance to equalize when Michael Carrick and Marcos Rojo were involved in a mix-up going for the same ball, but Eduardo Vargas failed to convert the opportunity into a goal, Sport24 reported.
Consolidating the lead, substitute Wilson struck his first goal of the season to seal the victory for United.
Currently, United are placed at fourth spot whereas QPR are languishing at 19th position in the league table.
