Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski is reportedly expected to make a move to Manchester United provided the club can offer him 25.5 million pounds.
The pole star's value has risen following his score of four goals in the semi-finals of the European Cup against Real Madrid, the Sun reports.
According to the report, while Dortmund's deal with Bayern Munich was virtually done, the switch might not take place as Munich is a rival to the German team, which in turn paves the way for United to claim the striker.
However, the report said that United will not be content with the asking price as Lewandowski had been offered to them for only 18 million pounds last season.
Lewandowski has only a year left in his contract with Dortmund and had publicly declared last week that he intends to make a switch to a club of his choice in few days, which was until now considered to be Munich but Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke denied a transfer with Munich in 2013.
Watzke explained that Lewandowski might not stay on at the club with a new deal but will surely not play for Munich this year.
