Man wanted under UAPA act held by Maha ATS in MP

A man wanted by the Maharashtra Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) was arrested from Madhya Pradesh's Burhanpur on Thursday.

According to Madhya Pradesh Police, the man identified as Akram Khan was arrested by ATS Maharashtra with the help of ATS MP.

Khan, a resident of Burhanpur, was an accused in a case registered by the Maharashtra ATS under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

His transit remand has been obtained from the local court and he is being brought to Mumbai, the ATS official said.
