The students and teachers of SMART Universal Academy here recently conducted a cleanliness drive at Wabagai Bazar in Thoubal district as part of the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan'.
The participants cleaned the market area with a message to the people to maintain hygiene. The National Bal Swachhta Mission was also launched in Sekmaijin village with the students and teachers starting the campaign inside the school campus.
The academy plans to carry out the campaign in remote villages and markets to highlight the importance of cleanliness.
