Janata Dal United (JD-U) leader K.C.Tyagi on Sunday said that Hindustani Avam Morcha (HAM) chief Jitan Ram Manjhi is begging for seats from the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) ahead of the assembly polls in Bihar.
"We got him (Manjhi) support of 140 MLAs and Jitan Ram Manjhi was made the Chief Minister of Bihar. The same Manjhi is begging for few seats from BJP today," Tyagi told ANI here.
Tyagi also said that his party is confident of forming the next government in Bihar.
"Bihar has already made up its mind. There is two alternative whether to bring Nitish Kumar or not bring Nitish. There is no third alternative other than us in Bihar. This election is similar to the campaign slogan used in the Lok Sabha elections where it was said to bring Modi or not bring Modi," Tyagi added.
The term of the 243-member Bihar Assembly comes to an end on November 29. The polls in the state will begin on October 12 and end on November 5. Counting of votes will take place on November 8.
