Marion Cotillard is set to star alongside Michael Fassbender in Justin Kurzel directed adaptation, 'Assassin's Creed.'
The New Regency and Ubisoft live-action adaptation of the Ubisoft video game, will prove the second project for the stars together, as they had worked in Macbeth, which too was helmed by Kurzel, and would be released later in 2015, Deadline.com reported.
The production is anticipated to begin early fall and the film is scheduled to release in December 2016 release through Fox.
The movie, which was scripted by Bill Collage, Adam Cooper and Michael Lesslie, is being co-financed by RatPac and Alpha Pictures, with Frank Marshall, Arnon Milchan, Jean-Julien Baronnet, Conor McCaughan, Fassbender and Pat Crowley producing.
