Martin Luther King Jr.'s children are fighting to get their hands on his tattered personal Bible and Nobel Peace Prize, which reportedly are worth millions of dollars.
Three of civil rights leader's children, are going to appear in an Atlanta courtroom, as Dexter King and Martin Luther King III have sued their sister Bernice King for possession of the items, People magazine reported.
It all started post President Obama used the Bible during his 2013 inauguration. Bernice was ordered by the estate, which is controlled by her two brothers, to give back the two items, but when she refused to do so, they sued her in Fulton County, Georgia, Superior Court.
It is believed that the brothers want to sell their father's belongings to a private buyer.
Bernice had even released a statement back in February 2014, revealing the dispute over "our father's most prized possessions," and wrote that the items were priceless and there no justification for selling them.
Though the siblings have been involved in a number of lawsuits in recent years, this latest one comes at the same time as the movie 'Selma,' based on the voting rights march led by King in 1965, gains critical acclaim and Oscar buzz.
If the doesn't make a ruling on the fate of King's Bible and Nobel medal, the case could go to trial next month.
