A two-week-long workshop on Mathematics Training and Talent Search (MTTS) programme was organized by Jammu and Kashmir Institute of Mathematical Sciences (JKIMS).
Authorities of Amar Singh College took an initiative to invite experts from different colleges and universities of the country including Kanpur, Punjab and Tata institute to organize the first such workshop related to mathematics.
The workshop was funded by National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) and department of atomic energy, government of India.
More than 40 students from various colleges of Jammu and Kashmir, besides some research scholars, participated in the workshop.
