Matt Damon has opened up about the last time that he saw Philip Seymour Hoffman before his tragic death.
During a Reddit AMA, the 43-year-old actor said that he was pretty close to the Oscar winner and they had worked together a long time ago and he would always see him here and there, Us magazine reported.
The 'Saving Private Ryan' star said that he would go to Hoffman plays at the Labyrinth and he had seen him just last year, when they were working on their film 'Monuments Men' and had dinner with him.
Damon also revealed that the last time he spoke to Hoffman was when he had taken his older daughter to the film 'Hunger Games' premier in LA and they had a chat before the movie started.
Damon said that it was just incredibly weird that he's not around anymore.
