Hinting at a potential ring return, former American boxer Floyd Mayweather has expressed it is 'possible' he could face mixed martial arts star Conor McGregor.
Speaking on the sidelines of the fight between Saul Canelo Alvarez and Amir Khan, Mayweather admitted the rumours have been started by him, adding that it might not just remain a rumour.
The 39-year-old further said that it could be a boxer versus an MMA fighter, Sport24 reported.
Mayweather retired from professional boxing in September with a perfect 49-0 record, including his last victory over Andre Berto.
