Top boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been told that a blockbuster bout with Manny Pacquiao can happen next year.
According to Metro.co.uk, talks about a 300 million-dollar blockbuster fight with Mayweather have been unsuccessfully staged for the past five years with the Dallas Cowboys stadium considered as a possible venue at one stage.
Top boxing promoter Arum said that on their side the fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather is on, and they are very open to it.
He added that there are no real impediments to having that fight happen, but whether it will or not depends completely on the Mayweather side.
A possible date for the battle of the century would be September as Mayweather fights Britain's Amir Khan in May, the report said.
