American boxer Floyd Mayweather is the world's richest sportsman of the past 12 months, as per reports from business magazine Forbes.
The unbeaten boxer, who topped the last year's list, earned a staggering 300million dollars with most of that coming from his 'Fight of the Century' bout against Manny Pacquiao, the BBC has reported.
While Pacquiao is second with 160 million earnings, footballers Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi grabbed third and fourth spot with 79.6 million and 50 million dollars respectively.
17-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer took the fifth position with an earning of 67 million dollars.
