The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has decided to lift a five-year ban imposed on Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan from entering the Wankhede Stadium in a managing committee meeting held here on Sunday.

"We have lifted the Wankhede ban from Shah Rukh Khan," said MCA vice-president Ashish Shelar, adding that the decision was taken unanimously.
Khan was banned from entering the iconic Mumbai Stadium in May 2012 for five years over an alleged altercation with a security guard and the MCA officials after an IPL game in which his team KKR defeated the Mumbai Indians.
