Condemning the twin terror attacks in Kabul, the Minister of External Affairs (MEA) on Thursday said it will work with Afghanistan to bring the perpetrators of terrorist violence to the justice.

"India has been a victim of terrorist violence and understands the pain and suffering of the people of Afghanistan. We reiterate our resolve to work with Afghanistan to bring perpetrators of terrorist violence to the justice they deserve wherever they may be," said the statement issued by the MEA.

MEA also expressed condolence to the people and the Government of Afghanistan for the loss of life and property.

The death toll in explosion has risen to 22 with at least 119 people injured, according to the local officials.

The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack in different parts of Kabul including a police headquarters in the western part of the city, wounding several people.

Reportedly, suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle next to the police station and near a military training centre.

The latest attack comes a month after a suicide bomber killed at least 20 people outside the Supreme Court in Kabul.
