A 46-year-old man has broken the Guinness World Record for holding an 'abdominal hover plank position' by strapping 100lbs to his back.
Troy Smith smashed the world record, by 24 seconds, for an incredibly painful exercise called the plank position by holding his body perfectly straight and horizontal with 110lbs, for three minutes and 19 seconds, the Daily Star reported.
Smith, who manages Oranka Juice Solutions health drink company, said that it was a struggle but he is elated that he managed to complete the task and felt "absolutely brilliant".
