Melanie Brown's mother has claimed that Stephen Belafonte once "scared" step-daughter, Phoenix, with a gun.
Andrea Brown, made the allegation in US court papers, when the 39-year-old and her former husband, Jimmy Gulzar, were battling for custody over their 14-year-old daughter, the Daily Express reported.
Andrea said that while at Danielle's; Phoenix said that Belafonte told her that when she was 16, he was going to throw her out of the house.
The allegation came amid speculations about the duo's seven year marriage was in turmoil.
