Melissa Rivers will be hosting a Thanksgiving dinner at her late mother, Joan Rivers's New York home, in her honour.
A source told the New York Post, that the 46-year-old actress wanted to continue the tradition she did every year, where the 50 people her table seated each year had to stand up and say what they were thankful for.
Though Joan's seat would be empty this year, Melissa wants the occasion to be just as happy, to "remember her mother and everything she did for other people."
Melissa also shared a throwback photo of her with Rivers, on her mother's account on Twitter, writing that she "finally figured out her password. HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Xo Melissa."
Joan's 5,000 square foot apartment in the Upper East Side area of the city is said to have gold pillars, gold-lined walls and huge chandeliers.
