The Navy on Thursday said that at around 11 a.m., schoolchildren in Maharashtra's Uran claimed of spotting four men in Pathan suit type dresses talking to each other in a different language.
According to Navy sources, the men were spotted by the students opposite to the Naval base.
As per the students, they heard the men say 'ONGC' and 'school' repeatedly.
The Navy was on high alert and had been carrying out extensive search operations after the schoolchildren spotted five-six men carrying weapons near INS Abhimanyu base.
The schoolchildren claimed that they noticed some suspicious persons with arms in Raigad's Uran, following which the state police alerted the navy and Coast Guard, which are carrying out combing operations.
