Michael Douglas has revealed that his own father and iconic actor, Kirk Douglas, did not believe that he will become a good actor.

The 68-year-old actor said that once his dad came to see his stage debut in Shakespeare's 'Much ado about nothing' and told him afterwards that his acting was just 'terrible,' the Daily Express reported.

Michael, who is currently separated from his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, added that Kirk was relieved that he didn't have to worry about him becoming an actor.
