The US Secret Service's sloppy response to a 2011 shooting incident at the White House had reportedly left Michelle Obama fuming.
According to CBS News and as reported by The Washington Times, first lady Michelle Obama was furious at the Secret Service's bungled response to the incident in which the agency took days to realize that a gunman had fired at and hit the White House several times.
It is reported that the agency took some four days to realize that the bullets had hit the White House after wrongly assuming that the shots fired on the night of Nov. 11, 2011 was an unrelated gang shooting, the report said.
The first lady was apparently "aghast" and "furious" at the Secret Service for not informing her and the President sooner.
President Barack Obama, who arrived home five days later, also expressed his anger at the Secret Service for its failure to intimate the first family about the incident immediately and for its lousy response to the shooting.
