Michelle Rodriguez has apologized for commenting that minority actors should "stop stealing all the white people's superheroes."

The 'Avatar' actress said that she has a tendency to speak without a filter and her remarks were taken out of context, E! Online reported.

In a three-minute video posted on Facebook, Rodriguez also mentioned that people in the industry should be more creative and try to make new superheroes instead of fitting their cultures into existing ones.

Rodriguez went on to point out how there "are many cultures in Hollywood that are not white that can come up with their own mythology.
