Mick Jagger has paid tribute to the late rock 'n' roll legend Chuck Berry by sharing his gratitude for what he gave the world.
The frontman of Rolling Stones, who launched their own recording career releasing a cover of Berry's 'Come On' as their debut single in 1963, took to Twitter and shared a nostalgic photo of himself with Chuck, paying him a moving tribute.
Posting a three-part dedication to Berry, the 73-year-old singer wrote, "I am so sad to hear of Chuck Berry's passing. I want to thank him for all the inspirational music he gave to us. Chuck you were amazing&your music is engraved inside us forever."
Many musicians and film celebrities including Bruce Springsteen, Russell Crowe and Ringo Starr, paid their tributes to the legendary musician.
