Micromax on Monday launched its new Canvas Win series, with two new smartphones - Canvas Win W092 for Rs. 6,500 and Canvas Win W121 for Rs. 9,500. With this, the company has become first Indian brand to launch Window based smartphones, backed by personalized User Interface.
On launching the new phones, the executive chairman of Micromax Informations, Sanjay Kapoor said that "I am pleased that Micromax is the only Indian mobile phone brand to be present across the two most popular operating platforms in the world."
The Canvas Win W121 sports a 5-inch HD, runs on Windows 8.1, powered by 1.2 Ghz Quad Core processor, with 1GB RAM and 2000 mAh battery. The smartphone has an 8MP autofocus primary camera, and a 2MP front camera.
While the other phone, Canvas Win W092 has a 4 Inch screen, a 1.2 Ghz Quad Core processor, 1GB RAM, 5 MP primary and a VGA front camera. The phone runs on 1500 mAh battery.
The aesthetics of the phones is enhanced with its leather-finish rear panel, which gives a nice grip to the smartphone. (ANI)
