Tech giant Microsoft is reportedly set to make a heart rate monitoring smartwatch, which would be compatible with iOS, Android and Windows.
According to Mashable, the watch will rely on technology used by Xbox Kinect engineers to enable the watch to track its wearer's heart rate at all times.
Microsoft, however, refused to make any comment on the speculations of the heart-rate monitoring smartwatch.
However, according to the report, a recently granted patent, which depicts a smartwatch with heart-rate and fitness tracking capabilities, indicates Microsoft could indeed be working on such a device.
Though there is no set time for the release of the smartwatch, but Microsoft may be eyeing a summer launch for the device, the report added.
