Microsoft releases Skype 6.0 for iOS and Android

Microsoft has released an update for Skype called Skype 6.0 for Android and iOS.

According to the Verge, the users interface has been updated in the new version. The app now focuses on being more natural and intuitive,

The company is bringing the iOS style of navigation. Now the buttons at the bottom of the app to clearly mark out sections and Microsoft has done the same on the Android version.

There are swipe gestures on the iOS version to allow the users to make quick calls or mute and delete conversations. The interface is largely the same within the chats, with an attachment icon to allow the users to add photos, location and video messages to a conversation.

Also, Microsoft is working on a new Skype app for Windows 10 Mobile.
