Microsoft's Q3 profits reportedly slipped by 0.4 percent and its net income went down by 6.6 percent, inspite of stronger sales of Windows.

The company recorded a strong growth in Windows OEM pro revenue, which plummeted by 4 percent.

While there is no confirmation on the number of Surface sales, Microsoft has provided an update on revenue, according to which, Surface amassed 494 million dollars in revenue, up 50 percent.
