Microsoft has released an update of Xbox Music to play songs stored on OneDrive for iOS and Android apps.

According to the Verge, the new update allows the users to use Xbox Music on iOS or Android without a subscription.

The users can now upload a collection of MP3s to OneDrive and stream them to the mobile apps without having to pay anything.

Although, the users will still need an Xbox Music Pass or Groove Music Pass to stream songs they do not own.

The users can also download the songs they have stored in OneDrive to make them available for offline use.
