The MTV Video Music Awards is just few weeks away and now, it has been revealed that Ed Sheeran, Miley Cyrus, Fifth Harmony, Lorde and others will join forces with host Katy Perry for the August 27 show.
According to promo videos, the star-studded line-up also includes The Weeknd, Thirty Seconds to Mars and Shawn Mendes. There may be more announcements to come.
Among the performers, Cyrus and her hit 'Malibu' is competing with Fifth Harmony's 'Down' for a Best Pop award, while Sheeran, The Weeknd and Lorde are up for an 'Artist of the Year' nod, for which fans can vote for on the VMAs site.
Several are nominees for the award shows' coveted Moonman, which was renamed this year to Moonperson.
The annual event will air live from The Forum in Inglewood, California on August 27.
