Miley Cyrus has finally opened up about the demise of her four-year relationship with former fiance Liam Hemsworth, asserting that she has moved on from the split.
During an interview on the 'Ellen DeGeneres Show', when DeGeneres asked the 20-year-old singer if she felt awkward about the break-up because of how much press it had generated, Cyrus simply said that the attention hasn't been too uncomfortable, ABC News reported.
The former Disney star said that people actually spend more time thinking about the split than she does.
The 'We Can't stop' hit maker asserted that she is at a place where one chapter of her life is over so it is important for her to move on and start a new one.
Cyrus explained that she feels like she has so much to be thankful for at the moment, that her energy hasn't really been focused on the split, adding that sometimes it is important to separate yourself from someone else to really be happy with who you are.
She further added that she is genuinely and finally happy with herself.
