Minor injured in road mishap, case registered

A minor was severely injured in a road accident in the wee hours of Monday.

According to the police, "A call was received by the Police Control Room (PCR) informing about the accident on the Ring Road near the ESI Hospital. Upon reaching the spot, a BMW car was found completely damaged."

"The minor was severely injured and then sent for immediate medical care," the police added.

A case under Section 279/337/427 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered at the Rajouri Garden Police Station.

Further investigation is underway.
